WHAT IS SPORTSHOPES?
SportsHopes is a non-profit organization that helps student athletes transition from high school to college. We know the whole, “getting into college” process can seem very daunting and confusing. That’s why for nearly ten years SportsHopes has guided countless students to achieve their collegiate dreams. We will do everything we can to make this a reality for YOUR student.
All services provided to high school and community college student-athletes by SportsHopes are provided free of charge.

We want to simplify the college application process for you.
While SportsHopes primarily focuses on helping local student-athletes, we extend assitance beyond the San Francisco Bay Area.
Provide knowledge and assistance of high school to college processes, procedures and pathways.
Assist with specific registrations such as ACT/SAT testing and the NCAA Eligibility Center.
Assist student-athletes with research and outreach to colleges and college coaches.
Provide one-on-one mentoring to high school and community college student-athletes.
Fundraise & engage community to raise awareness & support.
Provide Letters of Recommendation on behalf of student-athletes.
Assist with specific applications to four-year colleges.
Assist with the FAFSA, CSS Profile, Cal Grants and related Financial Aid applications.
Assist with specific online core course classes in make-up or missing core course situations as per NCAA rules and regulations.
Assist with opportunities to visit colleges and meet college coaches.
Assist communications between student-athletes, parents/guardians and high schools/colleges.
Provide Student-Athlete Mentor presentations to middle and high school student assemblies.
upcoming events & Fundraisers
SportsHopes holds fundraisers every year to help high school student-athletes raise money. A portion of the funds raised by student-athletes and their loved ones are donated in the name of the student-athlete to their sports programs or towards their pay-to-play fees.
