Dominic Revelez is a 2015 graduate of Willamette University in Oregon. He is also a Student-Athlete Mentor for SportsHopes. When I first met Dominic during his high school days at Dublin High he was hoping to move forward to a four-year college and play football, but while in high school he broke his leg during a football game so the concern was if he could ever play again. Thankfully he healed and was recruited by Willamette University Football. Willamette is a high-academic…s D3 college located in Salem, Oregon. At Willamette Dominic continued to maintain good academics as he had while in high school. He earned a BA in Exercise Science and a minor in Sociology. His career goal is to become a Physician’s Assistant. In order to be admitted to one of the colleges (such as Samuel Merritt, Stanford, U of Colorado or Oregon Health & Science) that offers a PA program he has to work 1,000-2,000 hours of hands-on experience (depending on the program) with either a hospital, private practice, therapy/rehab or research facility. He is looking for a job right now that will allow him to earn the hours. If you know of an opportunity, paid or unpaid, please send him or me a facebook message. He is an upstanding young man who while during his four years of college volunteered and worked with at-risk youth and kids with disabilities. He is currently tutoring kids but is focused on working in the healthcare field. Great job, Dominic! Bright future ahead!
