SportsHopes welcomes a new member to our Board, Daniel Wright, a local community youth advocate who has referred numerous youth to SportsHopes for free college pathway assistance and who has himself assisted numerous youth on their pathways to college. Dan has also volunteered when possible at SportsHopes fundraisers. He is the Head Track & Field / Cross Country Coach at Making Waves Academy, a small public charter high school and middle school based in Richmond, CA, that focuses on helping local students move forward to higher education and careers. In his spare time Dan also serves as a Certified Official for PA-USA Track & Field in northern California. Great to have you as part of our team, Dan, appreciate all of your leadership and grassroots commitment to community! Thank you to fellow SportsHopes Board Members as all are Volunteers.
