Dynamic Duo, Kaori Nguyen (L) and Tatiana Misco (R), are Merritt Community College-bound (Oakland, CA). Both are track & field student-athletes who had spent their freshman years at other colleges and not participating in sports, but they missed what they love! Kaori (long jump/triple jump) and Tatiana (sprinter) are 2013 graduates of Castro Valley High. Pathways to four-year colleges are not always direct. Sometimes you have to go and grow and find your way. Their futures are bright!
